How will l receive my sleep story?
You will receive your sleep story in two ways. Firstly, straight after purchase a screen will appear with a link to play or download your story. Secondly, you will receive an email within one minute, containing a link to access your stories.
What if the email doesn't arrive?
If the email containing your sleep stories doesn't arrive it's either because
a) Your email provider has filed it into your junk/promotions/other folder (you can check in there to see), or
b) Your email provider has blocked the email for some reason, or
c) You have made a typo when entering your email address during checkout (it happens to the best of us!)
After checking your junk/promotions/other folders, the next step you can take is to contact me through the About page of this website. Make sure to include your correct email address so I can resend your order.
How do I login to listen to my sleep stories?
You can always access your stories through the Login page (also shown as a link in the main menu). The first time you Login you will enter your email address (the one you used to order your stories) and then click 'forgot password'. You'll then be emailed a link to create your own password.
How do I listen to the sleep story?
After you've clicked the download link in your email, or logged in to the Login area to access your story, you can listen in two ways
a) By 'streaming', which just means you hit the play button (usually a triangle) on the story. This plays it from my website and doesn't download it onto your device.
b) By 'Downloading' which means the story is saved onto your device.
There is a limit to the number of streams/downloads you can do, so my best advice is to make sure you download your story onto a device for safe keeping, as well as keeping the email of your order somewhere safe.
Where did my download go?
Every device is different. If you're not sure where to find the story you've downloaded, check your music folder, your downloads folder, your files folder or your podcast app.
If all else fails, contact the shop where you bought your device, they should be able to tell you where your downloads are saved.
Do I need a special app to listen to my download?
Most devices already have some kind of music player installed that can play your download. However if your
phone/tablet doesn't have something installed, or it doesn't seem to be working, just visit the Google Play or Apple App Store through your device and download a free music player or free mp3
player. You can just search for 'free music player' or 'free mp3 player' and choose something simple with at least a 4 star rating.
Of course, you can always contact me through the About page if you are having difficulty or you need another copy of your story.
How do I use a discount code?
If you have a discount code that you'd like to use while purchasing stories, you can do so during the checkout process. Just add the stories that you want to your cart, then at the screen where you're asked for Paypal or Credit Card details, click on the words 'Got a code?' and you will be prompted to enter your discount code. This picture shows you that the 'Got a code' link is in blue at the bottom of the screen, just above the big yellow payment button.
How do I gift stories to someone else?
If you'd like to gift stories to someone else (which is a truly lovely thing to do), then add the stories you want to buy to your cart and proceed to the checkout. On the payment there is a little blue picture of a gift next where you enter your email address (see the picture). Click on that and you'll be prompted to add the delivery details for the gift along with any message you'd like to include with it.
